Birky Water Ways has been owned and operated by the Birky family since the early 1970s. In the late 1980s, David Birky bought the shares of the company owned by his brothers and became the sole proprietor. Darren, David's son, has been around the business his entire life and started working at Birky Water Ways in 2011. In recent years, Darren has taken over managing the day-to-day operations.
